Our Vision

 

At North Pointe, we’re passionate about three things.

  1. DEVELOPING Faithful Followers of Christ

    • We seek to help, equip, and guide people in developing in their walk with Christ. We understand this is a life long process, but we want to help our people remove the “training wheels” in their pursuit of Jesus.

      • Colossians 1:28 “So we continue to preach Christ to all men. We use all wisdom to warn and to teach everyone. We are trying to bring each one into God’s presence as a mature person in Christ.”

  2. REACHING Our Community

    • We believe that God has strategically placed us in the Deer Creek community. We desire to intentionally love, encourage, invest in, and be an influence in the community God has placed us. God desires that everyone would be saved (1 Timothy 2:4), and so do we.

      • Romans 10:14-15 “But before people can trust in the Lord for help, they must believe in him. And before they can believe in the Lord, they must hear about him. And for them to hear about the Lord, someone must tell them. And before someone can go and tell them, he must be sent. It is written, “How beautiful is the person who comes to bring good news.”

  3. MULTIPLYING the Church

    • We believe the way you can tell a mature disciple is that they make other disciples. In the same way, the mark of a mature church is they make other healthy churches. We believe that God is leading our church to plant or help revitalize a church in need. Other churches are not our competition but our partners in ministry, and we want to see them thrive and do well.

      • Matthew 28:19-20 “So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything that I have told you. You can be sure that I will be with you always. I will continue with you until the end of the world.”

      • 2 Timothy 2:2 “You and many others have heard what I have taught. You should teach the same thing to some people you can trust. Then they will be able to teach it to others.”

      • John 17:21-23 “Father, I pray that all people who believe in me can be one. You are in me and I am in you. I pray that these people can also be one in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me. I have given these people the glory that you gave me. I gave them this glory so that they can be one, the same as you and I are one. I will be in them and you will be in me. So they will be completely one. Then the world will know that you sent me. And the world will know that you loved these people the same as you loved me.”
